PICTURES
The picture above was taken in 1987 in the apartment that Andrew's dad grew up in located in the Shobra district of Cairo, Egypt. Here is a diagram everyone in the picture (by the way, they are all the director's cousins):
1. Amgad - still lives in Cairo
2. Amir - Amgad's brother; moved to San Jose in early 1990s
3. Andrew - grew up and still lives near San Jose
4. Eddie - Andrew's brother; grew up near San Jose and now lives in New Jersey
5. Christina ("Koky") - Amgad and Amir's youngest sister; moved to San Jose in early 2000s
6. Nader - moved to Los Angeles in early 1990s, and moved to near San Jose in 2005
7. Nevine - Nader's sister; moved to Los Angeles in early 1990s
8. Mira - Amgad, Amir and Koky's sister; moved to near San Jose in late 1990s
Here's essentially the same picture 19 years later, minus Amgad. This was taken after Eddie's engagement ceremony in Cupertino, CA. Andrew, the director, is making sure to pose in the exact same manner as he did almost two decades ago.
Here's a picture of Father Salib and some congregation members in front of St. George church in the mid-90s. The director is related by marriage to a few people in the picture.

This is His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, the patriarch of the Coptic Church, consecrating the St. George Church altar in September 1995. His Holiness stops at a church in Northern California every few years.

This is what we call Monday Funday. Every Monday in the summer, the church youth get together in the park across the street to play sports. The movie's director is at the bottom of the picture (photo owned by Anthony Aboseif).
