About OUT OF EGYPT

OUT OF EGYPT: A STORY OF COPTIC AMERICAN CULTURE is a documentary about the social life of Egyptian Christians living in the United States. Because of their shared religion and background, Coptic (Egyptian) Orthodox Christians have formed a network of small communities around each Coptic church in the United States. The members of the church share meals and ideals with one another as they balance the cultures of Egypt, Christianity, and the western world.

OUT OF EGYPT is produced, edited, and directed by Andrew Ishak.
